you might be able to use this as a review site

other than that I would have noidea what to do with this domain.

Personally I dont really like 3d domains - there are way too many of them and too many people jumping on the bandwagon

keep us updated on your development

I think it's a nice domain in my opinion, You can use it for quite a few things like a review website or maybe even some kind of button / logo generator like cooltext.com

    Good luck

    Hello,
I don't like the domain that much. Sure there is a future on it, if developed, but hey.. that's even the case with the worst domains on the net, right?

Personally, I would've found it better if it would've been Awesome3D.Com or something. You should be pretty original with this one -- a review site is an option, but the amount of 3D review sites is high I guess, so you would have to go more niche-specific.

    Good luck though! ;)

It doesn't really have much in the way of SEO values - sure it's got the term 3D, but people are more likely to be searching for '3d movies', '3d films', '3d glasses', '3d bluray' etc. So the quality of the domain would really depend on the quality of the content you put on it.

You need to do your RESEARCH on what it is you want to do BEFORE you buy a domain. I made that mistake in my early days on buying a domain then thinking what do i do with it? This is not how you make money on the internet. You need to research, put together a plan and only then do you take action like buying a domain name.

Also you can't be seriously looking to partner with strangers you never met on an IM board on a new project. Best to go it alone and if you need partners then look within your circle of trusted friends.

Different minds, different opinions and awesome learning curve :) - Thanks to everyone who is participating. I agree with you carleisenstein and bestmate.

@Aquarezz - You are right with using the word awesome first BUT this one felt much more memorable to me. Just my opinion...

Okay, let's take this discussion forward. - Are there any other things than 3d movies, 3d films, 3d glasses, 3d blueray?

Besides, am planning to use Wordpress. I've seen hundreds of good free themes. But do any of you have a personal choice for a free WP theme? Please share.

You do not need to write about 3d products.
    Basically everything is 3d awesome.
    3dawesome - search engine? Awesome
    3dawesome - articles site ? Awesome
    3dawesome - celebrities ? Kim Kardashian ? More than awesome !

@keym4ak3r - Quite nice and thought provoking ideas.

But am confused about the More than awesome idea of celebrities. Why? Cause I did thought about that. Which kind of celebrities are you talking about?

Because if I go with hollywood celebrities and all, it kills the concept of using a 3d domain, right? - Maybe you can help me understand your point of view please.

I consider 3D rather as a marketing trick than a real product group.
You see Kim is really a three-dimensional woman.
And all her dimensions are AWESOME.
At some point of 3D fashion you will meet 3D burger, 3D match sticks, 3D table,
so you can also try to make popular '3D awesome' = 'super cool'.

Bust, waist and hips make three dimensions ( or similar ).
Forget it, I am not a 3D specialist.

@JPMiddleton - Good question. To say the truth, my intention was to sell the domain instantly. But the topic I had in topic for which I really liked this domain was reviews mainly.

I think it is important to realize your domain has no current value, other than the expected value, when 3d becomes a hit. For the domain to have value, it is important for other people to be conscious of the expected value.
I see that about 12 people a month search for "3d awesome". Well thats something! But almost nothing. "awesome 3d" gets about 10 X more searches, so it is clearly better, but also not very impressive. If a large number of people are searching for keywords that exactly match your domain, that is some evidence of it's current value.
To be honest, I think a lot of people could have registered it a lot sooner, but just didn't want it. Which is not to say you can't prove them wrong. But for that to happen, 3d will have to get really huge.
A while ago someone took brutal3d.com. I had contemplated getting it several times but didn't. And now it's gone...forever! So if you are stoked about the domain I say good for you you got it!
I have a couple with next to no searches that I thought were cool, like 3dLick.com...we'll see what becomes of it!

@iain123 - We're already in touch. Good to talk with you and discuss more of 3d stuff.

@holographics - Truly inspiration and down to earth response, I'd say. Where do you check the search rate, GI and GT? or some other tools? I feel I can bring it to top for awesome 3d keyword but not sure if its worth it for so much effort.

Anybody have any favorite free news style wordpress theme?
