    It all depends on the website and the niche. Some website may be better served by programs such as Ebay Partner Network or Amazon. Others work best with smaller niche programs you can find on Commission Junction, Pepperjam, Share-A-Sale, etc. Adsense is truly only effective when you're in a niche with a high click value.
