Hi everyone, so I noticed theres still people looking for help on craigslist posting. When I mean help, its referring to people thinking they can spam or post extreme amount and over run other posts within craigslist. To kill the other competition for more exposure.

Which is why you see people hire outsource help on odesk, elance for craigslist posting service, what are you thoughts on this? Also forgot to mention, this also is referring to people buying programs like clad genius and any other related programs.

    My thoughts:

I think one way or another if anything is not done naturally, it will get kicked off meaning marked as spam or mis-categorized. I just feel like people are simply lazy to convert there ads by adding better pictures as example.

Now some of you are already thinking, your promoting it on you signature, so why even consider you to talk about this! My answer, to that is simply no, I`m not promoting the same services that you might be thinking, but designing and making better headlines, and making an optimized ad you can say. Rather then going to the route of posting numerous craigslist post. :D

Anyways, moving on, if you did hire somebody in the past, what was your biggest mistake? Or did you have any luck with there services?

I don't see anything wrong with it James. I do agree with you about mass posting in one area - that's a waste of time and space. I provide posting services for customers who want to post their service in multiple cities.

What's wrong with getting exposure across the board?
What's wrong with looking to expand your business?
What's wrong with increasing customer orders and giving yourself the ability to pick and choose the projects you prefer rather than what may come along with your one posting?

When Craigslist put up the "services" section - they must've thought of this becoming a popular means for small businesses and individual contractors to expand their customer base.

I think all spam activities can hurt another competitors, so it must be stopped or decreased for more healthy competition

Alvin - as I mentioned - I agree with the spam activities being a negative factor. However, how is it spam if you're advertising in different locations? Should Proctor and Gamble stop promoting their products in states other than where the product is produced?
