I find Ai incredibly useful for web marketing and more.
I'm not so sure about VR or AR. How do you marketers think about it?

I think it depends on your product. We were going to use VR for a real estate site, but the investors bailed. It was to add info about the property, the chattels etc.

Things that now seem simple, like using Google Street View for hospital walkthroughs, were once quite radical. We need to keep thinking about our products/services and how we can use tech to engage our customers.

Which reminds me, I need to have a look for a prepackaged script that does that design game where you choose different wallpaper etc to create a particular look. I see the ads for the games all the time and the games all seem to be the same, there must be a script out there somewhere. VR would be cool for that but I might be jumping the gun.

We recently considered VR for a marketing campaign. My company goes after "whales" which are organizations that can spend high six or low seven figures annually on our services. The thought was to send a high level executive at a target "whale" a VR headset with the invitation to join a virtual game of golf with us while discussing our potential services. I basically killed the idea because of my concerns with possibly technical difficulties with the head set (e.g., would it be allowed through their corporate firewall, would there be the inevitable tech glitches that occur with any technology new to the user, etc.) I was concerned that we would be the tech company that sent them a VR headset that "did not work", thereby hurting our image, instead of promoting it. But, I think that there is promise in the years ahead for doing something like this as the tech gets better and easier to use.

According to the marketing model, AI and VR can play a crucial role in various advertisements, particularly those targeting local audiences. It appears that in the foreseeable future, we will witness a substantial increase in the adoption of this marketing approach, particularly within our immediate surroundings.
