As a russian citizen I can say that the whole russian web is against these two medvedputs(as they call them), but in reality it's not the same. I do agree that Putin made a lot to bring Russia to life (unlike drunk Eltsin that was a US puppet in some cases) and to be honest if I were to vote for someone, theres just no one out there to go and say yes he'll be my president, the opposition is dumb and a bit nazi (since im not russian, I am caucasian - thats why Caucasus loves Putin on elections Id say), so I dont care really whoever from these two becomes a president.

laxman363, I wouldnt say that China is a heaven country. Yes they got big numbers on everything, but when you divide on each person(Per Capita), its aint great:

To my opinion Russian politics is so predictable now. I mean that Russia is not a developing country, but looks like Soviet Union of the 70's when so called period of the stagnation was there. There are any reasons to think that political vector will be turned and any other person will be a president.

    exactly.

yes, I guess so, he'll be happy to have USSR 2.0 :D But I doubt that its possible now. Having that much territory, theres no other options as play a leader in the region, imho, otherwise there will be a lot of chances to lose it.

Judging from what you have in your signature I'd have to say that's not entirely true... ;)
