TV Evangelists claim that Allah, God of the Muslims, is not a real God and is not the same God of Christians. This is because the Christian god is the trinity. Muslims do not agree with the Christian doctrine of trinity or the divinity of Jesus. Millions of Christians reject this same doctrine. At least five Presidents of the USA: John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, John Quincy Adams, Millard Fillmore, and William Howard Taft did not believe that Jesus was the son of god. They were Unitarians that respected the teachings of Jesus and rejected his divinity. Moreover, Sir Isaac Newton, the greatest scientist in the history, Leo Tolstoy, the giant of the Russian literature, and Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe, the greatest German writer (Goethe Institutes for teaching the German language exist in many parts of the world) did not agree with the trinity. Therefore, those TV Evangelists are either ignorant of their history or they do not tell the WHOLE TRUTH. The following are the writings of the second US President John Adams: The following are the writings of the third US President Thomas Jefferson (The writer of the US Declaration of Independence, and the signer of US Constitution): Jefferson went so far as to produce a revised New Testament deleting all references to miracles and portraying Jesus as just an extraordinary man and a powerful moral leader. It is very interesting that Thomas Jefferson, the writer of the US Constitution, purchased a copy of the Quran, and taught himself to read Arabic, and to know the basic Arabic grammars. It should be noted that Arabic is a Semitic language written from right to left as opposed to English which a Latin language written to left to right. Reference Kane, Joseph Nathan. The question was a very, very simple one: should we follow EVERYTHING Mohammed did or only SOME of the things that he did? You can answer with either a or b. a) We should follow EVERYTHING Mohammed did b) We should only follow SOME of the things Mohammed did I must say one thing that bugs me: I got two infractions that were both well deserved. SO the MODS are doing a great job. I also got two additional infractions: one for calling a guy who married an 8 year old a child molester. What would you call someone who takes an 8 year old as his wife? The infraction was for calling a religious leader a child molester. It doesn't matter who he is. The fact he is a child molester has nothing to do with one's religiosity. Second infraction was for thread hijacking. I have seen many side questions addressed on various threads and no one got an infraction. I did that myself. The only other time I got another infraction (4 in total) was when again I mentioned the fact someone married an 8 year old little girl. The reason was hijacking thread. I am just wondering if this is a new mod or something. If this is my last post so be it. DP is a great place and very well put together and easy to use. I especially like the contest forums. But I must say whoever gave me my last 2 infractions really did it for the wrong reasons. Nevertheless, it's the mods call.
Nowadays, even if you take the followers of the Old Testament (the Jews) and you put them side by side with the followers of the religion of peace I am sure it will be very easy to tell which you would rather have as your neighbours and which you would not feel as secure when they live in your vicinity. I am reminded of this everytime I board a plane. It's not because of the followers of the Old Testament that we have these extra long queues in the airport.
Jesus' Way and islams way are two completely opposites. Oh, and while you are at it, prove that the Bible is corrupted, without a copy and paste of the hate site that has been debunked so often that it has gotten old...
I follow Jesus. and Jeremy, a wise man once said.. *OK, not so wise, but hey* ..."You gotta serve somebody"
here is an interesting i found: http://www.digg.com/world_news/Ten_Misconceptions_About_Islam Hope this helps
I guess I should have been more specific... I don't following "anything", ie., thing, being the operative word. One, yes.. thing, no.. Hope that makes sense.
The old testament proclaims Jesus and His coming, the New talks about His arrival, His death, His resurrection and His coming again. Like I said I follow Jesus. But, because of what you have been taught, that will not make any sense to you at all. The brain washing that is done will hinder you from thinking and researching on your own.
Ok I will ask again. What book do you follow? The new testament or old testment? I'm not asking what god you follow.
We are under the new covenant, which is the teachings of the new testament, however it is important to read and understand the old as well. If you are going to point out what a horrible god we worship, save your breath God is not horrible, he is not evil, he is just. I do not expect you to understand nor anyone that does not believe. We follow both books, but are under the laws of the new

I answered your question, but because you don't understand you assume I didn't. I follow the one and only true God. Jehovah, the King of kings and Lord of lord, the Alpha and the Omega. He is the author of both the old and new testaments. Comprende? (better add that I am not saying God wrote it with His own hand, in case someone tries to be stupid.)
