Qur'an 9:123 O you who believe, fight those of the disbelievers who are near to you and let them find firmness in you. And know that Allah is with those who keep their duty.

Meaning: It is the duty of Muslims to fight against all non-Muslims even their neighbors.

Muslim ideology promotes violence and jihad.

every verse of the Qur'an came in different time frame during the Islamic massage. I am not a scholar to tell you what exactly that verse pretended to at that exact time frame, but if u are interested to know try to make Muslim friends that could answer this for you, or you may just have to scan all the neighbors religions before you buy a house since Muslims are supportable known to kill their neighbors. We are scary people so be aware! lool

Well, I don't hate you if that is what you think...

But I can hate evil in any form it exists, whether it be organized religion, or anti-religion-religions. I could care less if people want me to be tolerant - when it comes to evil, that isn't an option.
How do you tolerate someone killing another? Or do I tolerate a pedophile touching one of my kids? Never!
Tolerance stops once the persons beliefs turn to actions that harm others!

If you can digest the amount of shit and intolerance in their holy book, then good for you. Go embrace it!

Christianity = Right Religion, Wrong People
Islam = Wrong Religion, Wrong People

Apparently Judaism, the forerunner of the two seems much better! One is they don't go converting people to their religion like Christians do and next is they don't go killing people like Muslims do.

So are you saying that only scholars can interpret your holy book? Or you mean you use the excuse with the scholars because the meaning is very plain and simple and yet you want to disguise it as something else?

It dosen't mean fight physically. It means stand up for the Quran and Islam whenever people like you put your illogical claims against it.

“No man ever believes that the Bible means what it says: He is always convinced that it says what he means”
George Bernard Shaw (Irish literary Critic, Playwright and Essayist. 1925 Nobel Prize for Literature, 1856-1950)

Replace the word Bible with Qu'ran.

No man ever believes that the Qu'ran means what it says: He is always convinced that it says what he means.

How the heck do you know what it means? Are you a scholar? I thought only scholars can tell you what it means "according to the time and context it was written".

The more I hear about Islam the more confused I become. First Mohammed was the greatest prophet ever and everyone should follow his example. Mohammed if I am not mistaken killed some Jews and he also had an 8 year old little girl as his wife. So should we do EVERYTHING Mohammed did or not?

If not EVERYTHING he did we should do that means not his ENTIRE life is to be followed. If that is the case how do you pick which example to follow and which not to follow?

If he is the GREATEST prophet ever how you explain he did LESS miracles than Jesus and Moses?

You muslim dudes make it very confusing for someone like myself with some common sense to understand how you think.

A man told his grandson: "A terrible fight is going on inside me -- a fight between two wolves. One is evil, and represents hate, anger, arrogance, intolerance, and superiority . The other is good, and represents joy, peace, love, tolerance, understanding, humility, kindness, empathy, generosity, and compassion. This same fight is going on inside you, inside every other person too."

The grandson then asked: "Which wolf will win?" The old man replied simply: "The one you feed." Anon.

rofl, thats so funny, see this is why we dont worship from translations like christians, because you can never translate into another language and get the accurate meaning entirely, their is always mistakes.

Infact the verse is saying fight those who attack you, here are some better translations.

I doubt you have ever read the entire bible, let alone the Qur'an.

I recommend this book for you, its written by BIBLE SCHOLARS and the Jesus seminar, all Christians.

They marked words of Jesus in the BIBLE in 4 colors, with the below meanings.

Black = Jesus definitely didnt say it.
Grey = Jesus almost certainly didn't say it.
Red = Jesus definitely said it.
Pink = Jesus probably said something like it.

Guess what...... 70% of the words attributed to Jesus in your bible are marked in Black.

    my dear friend,

I'm a lapsed Christian, alright but that doesn't mean I have forgotten Sunday school classes. Oh, yeah I was a prospective convert to Islam but I didn't had it not been for some intervention of wisdom. I have just one thought going on in my mind right now about Islam and that's been ringing in my head ever since I read the Koran.

Why is Muhammad been revered more than God and if not, why is he placed on a higher podium than other previous prophets? Is it because he was a non-Jew among the prophets? Islam gives importance to Abraham and yes Abraham is not a Jew? Ultimately it all boils down to religious racism in the Koran, I guess.

The Jews and Christians treat all prophets alike. For example, we as Christians revere Moses and frequently make allusions to Daniel and all other prophets. But in the mosques in nearby place preach that Jews and Christians are the wrong followers and glorifies how God assisted Muhammad in the wars he waged.

See this is a false question, because it constains a false statement.

Muhammad (PBUH) is NEVER revered more than GOD!

He is a servent and messenger of GOD!

The testimony of conversion in Islam is:
Also we don't say any prophet are inferior or superior! But the prophets before were only sent to their people, whilst Muhammed (pbuh) was sent for the whole world.

Didn't Jesus say 'I was ONLY sent to the lost sheep of Israel' ?

I really dont think you have read the Quran at all. Have you even read the bible?

You think only the jews got prophets? what about Adam, noah?

Christian, Christianity never mentioned in the bible.

ADAM, abraham, moses, jesus etc (peace be upon them)

    ALL MUSLIMS!

What does MUSLIM mean? ---- Someone who submits to the will of God!

What is a religion? ---- A way of life acceptable to God.

So the religion has always been Islam - submission of your will to the creator!

Have yet to see one muslim in the Bible UNLESS you claim all arabs as muslim starting with Abraham's son through his maid.

Islam is against the teachings in the Bible and God for that matter. It uplifts muhamud to the status of a prophet who had written things that are opposite to what God said.

MUSLIM means someone who submits to allah and mohamud, not God. Religions are not all acceptable to God. In fact most concepts of "religion" is what Jesus spoke against. The only time it is mentioned of a pure religion is one

Erm what bible, the bible is corrupt, thats not me saying it, thats your scholars.

Muhammed (pbuh) was illiterate and even in your corrupt bible, whats opposite to what God said, 'Worship God with NO partners'?.

Im yet to find the passage in the bible were God tells he is 3 in 1 or even were Jesus claims any divinity.

AND Yes all the prophets in the bible are Muslim.

Allah, is the arabic for GOD, if you dont agree then you need to grab yourself a copy of the bible in arabic.

Muslim means someone who submits their will to GOD... and yes by doing that you need to follow the way of Muhammad pbuh, because he is the final messenger.

And Jesus said in the bible (what we have of it), 'No man shall enter the kingdom, except the one that does the will of my father in heaven'.

Im only replying because you twisted my words, i never said all religions are acceptable to God, i said people use the word religion to mean way of life.

    Quran 3:85
Now look the translators captalised 'Way'.... what words do we captialise in the middle of sentences? Names!

    Bible, Acts 9:1
    Acts 22
Whats Islam? Its the same thing Jesus brought, the Way, that God ordains and is acceptable to him!
