First, let me tell I'm agnostic coming from a Christian family. However, I'm a dark-skinned Asian who is pro-Israeli. Why? My grandfather has told me how Jews always had the guts to fight to give a comeback in times of adversity and how decadent Christianity and intolerant Islam always tried to persecute them.

I'll let these two links do the talking:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Jewish_scientists_and_philosophers

    and

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Muslim_scientists

Even my Muslim friend tells the Israelis are given license by G-d to do wonders because they were once a chosen race.

AHAHHAHAHA, justify it to yourself with such wishful thinking but how can GOD be three, why is this not the greatest commandment?

The first commandment, is WORSHIP 1 LORD - NO PARTNERS!

Protein, you will have to either see or not see what is written. Christ's message is Christ's message - a beautiful one. There is also ample evidence to suggest that the Christian notions of an afterlife, of a cosmic, spiritual transcendence, utterly different from the Roman pantheon and concepts of life and death, found a ready audience in the followers of Mithras - as this cult emphasized the same thing. Mithrianism preceded Christ and grew to prominence around the time of Christ's birth and life. Again, it doesn't detract from Christ or his message to say there was, at the time, a religion on the ground that was quite sympatico in its ideals with what the new religion promised.

Not all of them! the Qu'ran was sent because the BIBLE GOT CORRUPTED!

    ITS NOT A NEW MESSAGE!

Look your obsession with new teachings is ridiculous, there was never any difference in all the revelations sent to all the peoples of the worlds! But they constantly corrupted them and thus God would send new messengers with the ORIGINAL message, ISLAM is not a NEW religion, it is the original message of true submission to the ONE and only creator of the universe. it is also THE FINAL revelation and thus it has never been and never will be corrupted!

Come on now, the presence of god in three is all over the bible

    3 different bodies

All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit [Matthew 28:19].

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all [2 Corinthians 13:14].

To God’s elect. . .who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by his blood [1 Peter 1:1-2].

Genesis 1:26-27 God says, “Let us make man in our image.”

Remember we believe the bible is corrupted, the council of nicea headed by the roman emperor Constantine made many changes to the bible.

Son just means follower of or from in semetic languages. Jesus called him self the son of Man in the bible also and in some places son of David! Father is not literal, other prophets reffered to GOD as Father in the bible!

(From the NIV Bible, Mark 12:29)
(From the NIV Bible, Mark 10:18)
If Jesus doesn't consider himself as "good", then how can any sane person put him on the same level as GOD Almighty?

How could Jesus escape and run to Egypt from King Herod and still be this Mighty and Arrogant GOD?

I am not even going to comment on the other verses you mentioned. But this one you have got completely wrong. Yes, it says that. But who was talking to who? If God was three then why bother talking to himself this way and why have it written? "in our image" is talking about their qualities. Your theory flies in the face of Jesus being "the firstborn of all creation". If God was all three then why bother creating Jesus?

I gather you will be turning yourself inside out trying to explain this successfully.

Not at all, you are correct this is explaining more of the attributes of God, and im not necessarily saying he is 3 here, but the words are plural, and that is how it is written. And it indicates that God is at least in some since more then one

    Not at all,

It is a mark of respect in semitic languages to talk in the plural sense of the word! You see it some what in English too, for example a king might say to an audience, 'WE decree that this is such and such.'

Also in the bible it says Confusion is from the devil...... i have yet to see something more confusing than 1 = 3. Polytheism through the backdoor .

    It is!

GOD uses “We” to refer to Himself in many verse in the Qur’an, For example He says in 21:107
The Qur’an says very clearly that there is only One God and it condemns the trinity. “There is no god but Allah” is the basic principle of Islam. There is no ambiguity about this fact in the Qur’an and there are hundreds of verses of the Qur’an that make this point very clear. Belief in more than one God is (polytheism) and a major sin according to the Qur’an.

Arabic is a semitic language very similar to Aramaic and Hebrew!

We will never agree on this, you have your bible and i have mine, you say mine is corrupt, i say thats the only argument you have. The words may have changed some, but the main idea has remained throughout. Lets just hope that if either of us were wrong God will forgive and know our hearts were set on him.

I don't see how this thread deviated into a debate about Christianity versus Islam. It was simply meant to be about the great achievements of Islam and about the good Islam brings to the world.

I am still failing to see it:confused:
