Hello All: I have gone the rounds at at least 35-40 gig sites (like Fiverr). So far, after posting an average of four "gigs" at each site, I've had responses from only Fiverr. I would like to know the thoughts and experiences of others here at DPF regarding gig sites. The idea seems great, and like I said, Fiverr has been good to me the last two weeks. Why would ALL of the other sites show a lot of views to my gigs but absolutely no response, like the kind I am getting at Fiverr. Any input or thoughts regarding gig site experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Dennis (Storyteller)
Some of the sites have experience the unfortunate circumstance of Fiverr pressuring PayPal to order the other clone sites to remove Paypal's payment processing services from their site. The other reason is the other sites don't quickly get the word out (marketing wise) when someone posts a new gig or suggest on their site.
I think the feedback scores are the main fact to get order from gig sites. Sometimes the demand offers also get response. I have some good experience with zeerk, when offered some on-demand services.
i have posted some gigs on some new sites but never heard back from anyone so, for me it was not a good experience however, as this thread is talking about fiverr as a good place to place your gigs i am thinking of giving it a shot
Fiverr is more popular yet the cheapest way to get a decent contractor maybe that's why gigs are more frequent to be noticed there.
Fiverr is the most popular gig site that is why you receive the most response in there. That is the same situation with my gigs in other sites as well, like Zeerk.
If you are new to posting gigs, just post on a couple of sites because with Fiverr's current formant, after getting a million users, its going to be oversaturated and your gig will be last because you have no feedback. Try Gigurr, its so new they arent charging commission. just my advice
I would say don’t limit yourself and instead post to as many micro job sites as you can!! Content is king and the more you post your offerings on other domains the better chances you will have for someone to find your gig and besides It doesn’t cost you anything but time. Also self promoting your own gigs on social blogs and other resources and so forth is probably not a bad idea. Another fiverr clone site I use is http://www.gigblasters.com but just one of many ïŠ
I agree! You should post your services to as many micro jobs sites as possible. You never know who may need your services. I used to get a lot od sales on Fiverr but the work that I was doing was not worth the pay. Aside from Fiverr, I've gotten a lot of responses on Peoplestox. It's not really a fiverr clone but pretty much the same concept. You should also try posting your services on Craigslist or Ebay.
Fiverr seems to be the top dog of gig sites lately, but I suspect that will change as many folks realise the potential of it
Well if you looking for the best SEO Services at the most reasonable prices OR even if you want to sell your SEO Services and want great responses from buyers/sellers then SEOClerks is the best place. Even much better than Fiverr Or you can say the only capable competitor of Fiverr.
