    Few suggestions:
    - upgrade to the latest version of SMF (1.1.1)
    - Get another theme
    - Way to many subforums. Start small and expand when there is a need for.
    - Post as much as you can. It's completly empty now and nobody will join an empty forum.

I would look for those forum poster services, I seen this somewhere before not sure where they have a paid service in which they get people to join the forum and make posts to help fill up the forum a little to make it look popular. You might want to do a google search on forum posting service or something like that..

Wow - that's a lot of forums! Perhaps shrink it down so that each current category is actually a forum to start. Even on a large forum, that would be too much scrolling to get around the pages.

It would be helpful to put something on your forum explaining what its purpose is. I couldn't really tell from a first look.

    Hi

I agree with Jacqueline. That was probably one of the longest forums i ever saw.

You need to short it down. Use SubForum's setup, under a main category forum, rather then making all folders display on main site. It will help you reduce the size of the forum.

    Regards

Right now your forum is too big and scares people off. I suggest making some of those boards child boards. The default theme is a huge turn off for people browsing the internet. Members like to join forums that look good/interesting. I suggest you download some themes for the SMF website. If you go to a cCollege/school/work/etc. You should pass the link around at those locations and with your friends to get some members posting.

    1. Have just 5 boards to start with and then gradually expand as you need to.
    2. Create some fake members and start posting with them (a few a day)

    Good luck

http://www.findallinone.com/ <-- is your main problem! (what is it supposed to be?)

    Post a lot more!!!
It still looks way to empty and way to big.
You need at least 20 topics in every subforum to start!
And you definatly need to get another theme as well!

Still way too big in such a way that it will nearly always look empty and will put people off using it.

When I started my forum, I started with 4 boards, now with 2.6 million posts, I only have 18 boards.

More boards = harder to navigate and harder to make look active.

Also a lots duplicates (career, politics, computers & technology,....)
Try to create more broad category, with only a few subforums.

    eg:
    Entertainment and culture
    Movies & music
    Computers, technology and games
    Art and litereature
    other

It will still leave you with quit a few subforums though. So you really have to make sure you fill them with good content!

That looks very clean cut and nice to the eyes! Just get some marketing under your belt for the forum and you should be good to go. Make sure you have a intro/new user forum for them to post in!
