Hello I'll admit I try to read a couple of "regular" websites -- but I'd love to hear what others like to read. What are some of your favorite blogs or websites? I like.... Content Done Better Deborah Ng's Freelance Writing Gigs www.freelancewritinggigs.com Some others that aren't immediately coming to mind because its been a head-spinner of a day...but I'll try to come back and edit them in this post! lol Abby
I actually haven't visited Content Done Better since Carson sold it. Deb's is a given. Here are a few others to take a look at: www.TheGoldenPencil.com - Anne Wayman's blog www.chrisblogging.com - Chris Bibey (think I have the name right - or close) www.freelanceswitch.com - a group blog, and not only about writing, but good stuff
believe it or not, I don't read any. I tried to look at Jenn's site a few times though (the nakedpr site). It seemed good.
Earlier in the year I used to visit chrisblogging and have found his or her insight very useful. But to tell the truth, lately I've been "doing" and less "reading about doing." This is good, because it means I've got plenty of work.
Is Deborah Ng's site down? Certainly seems to be. Somebody else want to try, then I know it's not just my connection or something like that?
Search on google opens up several of websites and there is one or more useful information on each one of them. Generally, there are two important aspects I prefer to go through. One is writer's own perspective and other is some type of new source where I can explore further possibilities.I find Jenn's website quite useful and informative in far reaching vision.Despite of her extreme commercial tone ( I do not know if this appeals to everyone!) her vision is exemplary. I mainly focus on magazines when not copywriting for websites and products and find them more paying compared to "selling with all rights gone".I am now turning my focus to international magazines and would be happy to know some useful resources on web as well.
Sometimes I'll sit with a book instead so I'm not taking the ADD approach to learning something. The internet is so distracting some times. I do read some blogs but I find that I don't read the same ones all the time.
Meanwhile, the dailywritingtips blog also a pretty good place to hang out, it's a lounge for those peoples that want to polish their English...
I love reading hot posts on Sphinn, technorati, Digg and stumbleupon. Sphinn, I am finding great actually. I read more to have an idea about different writing styles and quality information. But anything, anywhere and anytime I find as food for thought is just great
I'm surprised no one has mentioned what I consider the best (in content and application) of copywriting articles and advise.
