While most people give me the stink-eye when I say this, I like The Fountainhead. Putting aside all of the politics that wrongly get associated with this novel, at its core there is a very important message about individuality, innovation, and being the best you can be.
I read more than what is probably considered being healthy I read from almost every genre, so I have different books that suit different states of mind. Intense stories, lighthearted funny ones, sexy ones, historical, etc. So here is a variety, and it is ridiculously difficult to narrow them down. Ender's Game series - Orson Scott Card. Political and psychological effects on a child that has been sent to learn about war and military. Lover Awakened - JR Ward. A crazy, original spin on 'Vampires'. Ward effectively creates her own culture, and the story in this book particularly is heart warming. Her characterisation is of a level that I have seldom witnessed, it's really amazing. Book of Enoch - religious text that is basically disregarded by almost all denominations. Discusses the falling of angels and creation of Nephilim. Amazing to read. Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte. A love story about two of the most unlikeable characters? They have so many faults and inadequacies, and it's tragic. The mistakes they make are their undoing. Suzanne Collins - Hunger Games. These are new and extraordinary. Timaeus - Plato. It's about Atlantis. Need I say more? To Kill a Mockingbird - Harper Lee. Also speaks for itself. Okay, I could just keep going.
Personally, I would read all kinds of books.I can't figure out/forget which one is my favourite, maybe at that time, I think it's great, but not know.
I like book named as "Beyond Birth to Death", It is book the how soul will travel, written by the Swamy Prabhupada and published by ISKON.
Am bit lazy to go on with books, but i prefer gaining knowledge from E-books which i can easily read online and i always prefer to get some knowledge on human Psychology so any books related to that would get me !
I don't have favorites. I read different genres but my weakness is fantasy literature and science fiction. Adventure is the main key. Some of my top reads- Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, The Elemental Assassin series & Mythos Academy series by Jennifer Estep, Sabina Kane series by Jaye Wells, Vampire Academy series & Bloodlines series by Richelle Mead, etc...
My favorite Books are the harry potter books because i like the story and magics in that book and i read it for lot of times.
