What are you looking when buying a domain name?

    Page Rank?
    Number of Back-Links?
    Is it a Fake name?
    How old is the name?

    What else? What other measurements?

    Thanks syedwasi87;
    This is your own perception of the name, not something measurable in some way

    I never cared about the age or banklinks.
    For serious websites I want the domain to describe the website content.
    For forums, which I'm really into as well, I use domains that are easy to remember and are brandable. :)

    easy to say and remember, no hyphens, and preferably a generic term, at least brandable where you can load aff products et al behind it and feel safe you are going to make some $$.
    Age and backlinks will help if you need a quick lift, and if it is a trusted domain and will be used for the same subject matter it was intended for originally, then it will have more value-

    I will look for domain name thats 2 or 3 word only. because it's easy to say and remember. After, that domain name must be good describe my site content.

    If I found that domain I will register domain in long time and sell it with most expensive prices!!!!! HaHa :D

    I'm mostly looking at the name, is it a good name or not. The traffic I can build up later when developing the site :D

    At the moment I'm looking for developed web sites and not just only the domain names, so traffic and content is currently the most important things for me.
