You know, it's just darn easy to trick people, fool around and use black hat techniques but beware that eventually it will take years of efforts to get their trust back.

then again (almost)everyone takes the shady path because the honest one takes effort and time to complete. in the end i prefer to keep myself clean, really not worth it even if we are behind monitors.

Not caring about doing the right thing is very short-sighted. Who cares? Your customers, that is who. I would much rather have one hundred customers for life than 10,000 one-time sales because I was only interested in making some quick money.

Kudos to you Clinton for a great post!

I'm mainly selling alternative health supplements.

    - I try to sell only quality products, which are proven to work.
    - I make the process of decision making as positive as possible.
    - There's a 60-day money back guarantee anyway. :)
    - I look up the ingredients, so I can know that the product is not a scam.

Basically, I really believe that positive attitude is important. As it was mentioned before, if you want to make a quick buck, you don't need integrity. But if you're going to earn a living that way, then you have to work it out. :)
It's either going to be a win-win or a lose-lose situation for you and your client.

True, its extremely narrow-minded. It's like saying "look at me I'm bad ass, who cares about the gear shift-just keep it in the first gear". If people don't want to open their mind a little than they'll be failures all their life, because they think the little that they know is more important than what the experienced tell them.

I agree! If you're going to earn a living on quick buck techniques its not worth it. It'll make you more work in the long run and less money.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

    Exactly!

Providing quality service/product is primary! If I needed money that badly I would rather take $5 from 1000 credit cards than lie to people about my products.
