    XML is Extensible Markup Language. Unlike HTML it is possible to create our own tags in XML. RSS is Really Simple Syndication. If you are subscribed to RSS feed of any website then it is possible to view the updated on that website using an RSS reader and without need to visit the website frequently. A plugin is available in joomla for creating RSS feed.
