what are ways to make money online? (newbie question)

the best way to make extra money would be to do affiliate marketing, getting involved in clickbank is really good to. Online surveys take way to long and you have to fill out forms for every different survey company

 

What about Clickbank? You pick the products you'd like to promote and they give you tips and tools to help market it.

 

consider to open store on ebay or other marketplaces online

 

The heck with ebay.. lol I tried that one. The fees will eat you alive.

 

U can go into advertising

 

How would you go about that?

Its all about selling another person's product in order 2 get commission. It can also mean helping someone to sell and get rewarded

 

I recommend Clickbank. If you have any marketing skills at all you can earn decent commissions when someone buys something you are promoting. There is literally tons of how to stuff on YouTube. Just search for it and you'll learn pretty much anything you want.

If you do not know 'how to sell' or how to convert a sale, then you will fail at affiliate marketing.

There is a method to selling a lot of people do not have. Affiliate marketing is not for everyone, nor is it easy for newbies to do. It will take time, and patience. You may work at it for 3/6/12 months before you make any real money. Plus if you think you can do it all free or on the cheap without investment in traffic, landing pages, among other things you are kidding yourself.

Affiliate marketing is one way, find your niche, make one or more mini sites and market the affiliations. However you need to invest some money (hosting, etc..)

Seriously, surveys, paid to read, paid to click, etc are all scams. You'll spend a lot of time for minimal or no return. In the end the only way to make money from the internet is the same as making money anywhere, you need to give value for value, for example by providing a useful product or service. If you are really good at making information sites you might make money from adsense, but there's a lot of competition. Others have suggested article writing, and that's certainly one good way, but it's a skill not everyone has.

Can you answer these questions:

Where do you live?

What skills do you have?

How many hours a day are you prepared to work for that $5/day?

What stops you making that money outside the internet? For example if you lived here (New Zealand), you could make more than that doing the occasional shift flipping burgers at Macdonalds. If you live in India that's probably not an option.
