I'm signing up for an affiliate network and they reviewing me for inclusion into their network. They sent me an email asking me "What are your verticals"? I don't mind so much looking like an idiot asking this question here, but I do mind looking like an idiot asking them. Can someone tell me what "verticals" are? Is this some business slang for something?
Industry, sector or niche. I don't get it why they use such complex words. Are they supposing the people who signup with them are all marketing experts?
Yeah, that's pretty cheesy. LOL Maybe it's part of their interview test to see if you are knowledgeable.
