What are these additional ftp accounts??

in ftp settings at cpanel, i see following accounts other than my other accounts:





what are they? i mean how are they different from my main root account? and anonymous means anybody can access?

 

Not really, these are system created accounts for different purposes.

 

These dotn affect you. JUst let them be there.

All are related to various logs.

Anonymous access can be disabled within your account but please note it can only access public_ftp. If you don't want anything there just chmod (change the permissions) on that folder to 000.

All fixed The rest are there for other purposes like statistics and don't pose any problems.
