Hi, when it comes to seo everyone talks about 50KB limits, then some talk about bandwidth packets. Now the question is that if i am creating an external css, javascript or image sprite what is the size limit? and why? I think maybe this has something to do with internet connections at user side but what these packets has to do, i have no idea. As if there are limits and they provide advantage then i will split my css into two external files so that i could take advantage of these features.
Experts suggest that keep the size of your webpages less than 50KB so your site downloaded fast and visitors don’t have to wait for long to see your site content. Also for good SEO site page size ideal should be limit to 15KB.
One thing that i don't understand is, how can you ever reach the ideal state of SEO as you know if you just add one library e-g Jquery it will exceed both limits that of ideal (15KB) and the other one of 50KB. And that is just library then comes other scripts, css, images, html, text. Is there a way to reach 50KB or 15KB while still having all css, javascripts, images, html etc?
a developer would be able to tell you that. it is within your best interest to make sure your page loads real fast. not everyone has fast internet connection and if the page take a while to load, your potential visitor might just close the window and move on to the next site. also, page load time has something to do with serp ranking as well.
I am agree with your knowledge about 500kb limit this is really a good way to make a perfect site and ready to quick excess.
