Normally all affiliate programs give anything between 5-10% second tier commissions. You should stick to the leading ones like Azoogle, Neverblue, Moreniche.. after all getting second tier affiliates will only help if the offers in the networks have good conversions. It is of no use refering second tier affiliates to networks where products are hard to promote. After all, you will earn only when your referrals will earn.
I have had SEM friends sign up under my broker/second tier accounts and found that some companies don't record the referral leads (AFF and Sucessfulmatch.com). Even if you contact the company directly to let them know, their response is your friend didn't sign up under your ID. Really, how many SEM expert friends are not going to use your broker link for referring a good program? If you do explore 2nd tier, by warned that you don't always get your man!
