hey thanks eKstreme, I like your tools and will bookmark them. I see Mr Wall has my typo script up which I sent him.

Here's my real question...the web seems flooded with SEO tools now and my client wants to create some new ones, but I think you got to put a lot of firepower and creativity behind it now to create something interesting.

    Thanks again

Glad you like the tools Spider Ninja :) There are more on the way

I posted my suggestions late last night. Of course, the biggest list ever of SEO tools is here. I don't know why I forgot about it!

And you're right. There are a lot of excellent tools out there, and it seems everyone can write one these days. The APIs are fairly stable (notably Yahoo!'s), and there are lots of examples, source code, and libraries to make life easier. All this means that you're absolutely right: creativity will now be the differentiating factor.

There is a very easy way to get a list of the deep links to your site: In Yahoo, search for:

    linkdomain:mysite.com linkdomain:www.mysite.com -site:mysite.com -site:www.mysite.com
    Code (markup):
    That will list them.

Having said that, it's very easy to add it to my tool: it downloads the data anyway, so a nice little list is just a print-out away. I'll get right to it. Thanks for the suggestion :)

Yes it keeps going down once in a while. My stupid hosting service can't handle the load, although I'm well within my limits (space and bandwidth wise). I think they oversold themselves just a smidge.

I'm moving to a new host soon I hope.

It's back up again for what it's worth.

Hey somebody (no no, not me *g*) should create a del.icio.us list with all those great links. It would be a highly visited list and you could also add your own link at the very top. Just a quick thought - might pay off big time.
