In my view the top most physical sports are Cricket Soccer Hockey Boxing and Rugby or related like American Football
It should be similar to this 1. Boxing 2. NFL Football (american football) 3. Rugby 4. hockey 5. amateur wrestling
Are you trying to say that soccer is a contact sport? Last I looked you can't hit the other person, tackle them and drag them to the ground.. or grab them in any way in fact. and if you make contact during a soccer "tackle" you give away a penalty. Look up a list of non contact sports and I'm sure you'll see it there

- More Australian Rules highlights. Note that catching the ball is the norm in Aussie Rules, not like in NFL where they glorify players for marking a ball on their chest. In Aussie Rules it's a good catch if you stand on someone's shoulders and take it. - Some nice Rugby hits. Notice they do not wear padding and helmets. Now compare that to the biggest soccer hits you can find. Not even in the same universe as these sports for physical force. These are the two most physical ball sports in the world without a shadow of doubt.
I agree that rugby is a very physical came, but so is hockey:
For me the top 5 most physical sports in the world are 1) Rugby 2) American Football 3) Ice Hockey 4) Basketball 5) Soccer. At the end of the session you will definitely be in serious pain.
