I have a static website that I use to generate mortgage leads for my business. I now have a word press blog hooked on the back to which I submit articles to and then ditribute to the article directorys. So as my title says what 3 things should a beginner do for link building for a blog The only pluggin I have is the "all in one seo" which is fantastic.
- Post at least 2 articles per day. - Make sure you have as many back links as possible. - Make sure your articles are unique and useful.
I will tell you one most important thing- BLOG A new blogger has to BLOG! Not being sarcastic or kidding, but these days many dont do any blogging at all, just cut and paste!
@sarkin ruwa all new blogger should post 1 or more articles per day and commenting! There is a lot of blogs where you can post and get backlink from comments, but there is also blogs which are using top commentators widget and from where you can get link from their home page. http://azikuri.com/2008/10/25/list-of-blogs-using-top-commentators-widget/ here is list of blogs using top commentators.
Keep on adding fresh and exciting content. Make your visitors engaged on your blog. constant update every week is a must for every blog. IMO
Yes make your blog useful. Add quality content that visitors will benefit from. Dont keep adding crappy information that can be found at any site in your niche. You can add this content, but make it unique. --sean
1) Blog and add useful unique content - not just free ezine stuff 2) Build backlinks and deeplinks 3) Get your blog syndicated and networked in the various blog and RSS systems.
