you can do article posting,Prease release posting,forum posting,blog posting,blog submisson,directory submision,link building,social book marking.

 

There are 3 ways you can start with to promote your site:

1. Pay per click - Use adwords

2. SEO - onsite and offsite SEO optimization to increase ranking in Google to draw organic traffic.

3. Social media optimization - Engage and create more buzz from top social media networks like twitter, facebook, linkedIn, etc.

I suggest to prompt slowly

 

First your website needs to be complete, otherwise visitors you attracted will leave your website because its incomplete, so check web design & content first.

Then there are many ways to do promotion, depending on your budget you can purchase ad space on other websites or use google adsense and similar. If you want free advertising I would suggest directory backlinks, forum posting, social network bookmarking's, article marketing etc.
