What are the specifics of the different types of 'users'?

    I see several different types:
    Admin
    Editor
    Contributer
    Subscriber

The first two are pretty self explanatory. I was just wondering what the difference between a 'contributer' and a 'subscriber' were? Are they both allowed to comment?

The reason I ask is because I installed a mod to integrate wordpress and vbulletin so that my wordpress comments also show up in my forums. To do this, I have to 'map' my vb users as one of the wordpress user types listed above. I want my vb users to just leave comments. I am guessing that would mean I would want to map them as subscribers, but I just wanted to make sure first.

a contributer is a person who is allowed to write a post and comment on your blog

a subscriber is a person who is only allowed to comment on your post.

    hope this helps you.
