Hi, I have just started to digg. Can you please give your inputs on procedures that lead our stories that hit the home page of Digg with higher votes?
Hi, I did a quick search on google, and here are a few sites that came up that will give you some tips, http://www.pronetadvertising.com/articles/how-to-get-on-the-digg-homepage.html http://copybrighter.com/blog/how-to-make-the-digg-home-page http://www.eggrage.co.uk/how-to-get-3000-diggs-in-24-hours/ -- Phil
Getting an article from your own domain to Digg's home page is quite difficult. There are 2 options: 1) Research articles and tutorials like the one's tyzer provided 2) Order Digg promotion for your articles. That way you don't have to research anything. You can PM me for details.
Tyzer, Thanks a lot for your meticulous research on Google and providing me the excellent tips to achieve home page of Digg.
Top 100 Digg Users Control 56% of Digg's HomePage Content; http://www.seomoz.org/blog/top-100-digg-users-control-56-of-diggs-homepage-content I think it is very difficult to get your story on home page unless you are the first person to report any breaking news.
The are two basic ways to get to the front page: 1) Pay a service like Subvert and Profit a bunch of money and let them do the work. 2) Build a website with a huge, loyal following, so that your regular visitors vote for your stories. For this, it also helps to have some friends on Digg who you can "shout" to, and having a good story in the first place isn't a bad idea.
You could try link baiting.. make your title unique, interesting and catchy.. something that would perk up a reader's interest and click on it..
You can make your story hit only by grabbing attention of people to your story and collecting more votes on your story. Good Luck
