Sorry if this sounds a stupid question to you, but I've been looking around and can't seem to find any thing that will tell me the prices they charge to put your ad up.

Could someone please tell me or link me to a page :)

    Thanks!!!

    Prices at Adwords

Minimum CPC for US ads 0.05$

But you will hardly get any clicks for it

All the prices depend on the keyword you are using

If the quality of keyword is low you will need to use High CPC (Vise Versa)

The easiest way to learn would be to get an adwords account. It doesn't cost anything to sign up and then you can run simulations of your campaigns.

    Adwords has two Options

    One is site targetted .

If you want your ad to appear on a site which uses adsense ..its site targetted . You will be paying CPM for Site Targetted ads ( Minimum CPM is 0.25$ )

    Second one is Keyword Targeting

Your ad can appear on Sponsored Listings In Google search and also on Content network in adsense for the keywords you prefer.

    ohh ok, thanks guys :p

To get in the top listings on a certain keyword when you search on google, that is free right?

The google spider just goes around to any websites that are "popular" with a certain keyword in its meta tags and ranks you on the search results?
