what are the possible reasons for thread getting closed.

    Hi,

    I wish to know what are the possible reasons for thread getting closed.
    I opened a thread yesterday in general chat forum discussing about your favorite drinks.
    I found it closed today,I wish to know why this has happened. what are the precautions i should about general chat posting. is there any topic restriction etc.
