What are the new changes or new thing in HTML5?

    As we are aware about HTML 5 now. Most of the webmaster recommend it.
    Being a website designer, i am not understanding that what exactly is in HTML5 for webmasters.

    I have made a wordpress based blog and when i validate its code into W3C then i found that the new theme is based on HTML 5.
    Later i checked the code but i didn't understand anything about HTML 5 work.

    Kindly explain about the same.
