We all know that its important to be at the top of the search result, that's how we get traffic to oursite. But how do get the top of the search result?

This post http://www.quangvo.com/?p=48 provides some important factor to be at the tops but what other factors is there to get to the top of the post.

The other day my website got script insertion hijacked and my site go straingt down to the bottom of search result. I follow some tips and got back to the top. What is your experiences out there?

i think you should mention that your list is not in order of importance and i would change your permalink structure if you want people to believe that you know something about SEO,

That is a pretty good list, it covers most aspects. It is also important to note that quality sums up everything in SEO. Quality links, quality content, and quality terms.

Good job using all in one seo pack, that definitely helps. However, as mentioned above, I would change your permalink structure so your url includes the title keywords instead of ?p=48.

Finally, when you have 3 categories the breadcrumb list flows into the title on my screen. May want to limit it to 2 categories with that theme.

Content, Content, Content. That is ALL I do on my site. No off-site links at all. And most searches for the content on my pages lands them on the first page of search results and often in #1 position.

Go to any of the content pages at mmerlinn.com and try a few searches for the content on them. Note how often the search results land on the first page.

There are over 4000 pages there and the searches generate about 3 phone calls per day of which 1 is converted into a sale. Pages generate about $3000 in sales per month and cost $7 per month for domain & hosting fees.

New and updated content is uploaded every day. Google indexes within days, sometimes within hours, of uploading.

    Google is truly my friend.
