What are the main reasons for sudden drop in keywords ranking in google?

how old is your site? Have you cleared out the cache?

you change/edit your layout
you do keyword stuffing
you change/update meta title, description and keywords

Finally my rank is building up again, along with the alexa ranking dropping significantly. Try to get high pr backlinks and use advertising as a strategy then you'll see the ranks go up again.

 

Well it is good that it just dropped and didnt get deleted for the search results. Have you used any new website to get links or to get google plus ones. I am not sure but I think that if you get google plus ones to fast it may effect your ranking.

 

Sometimes submitting lots of directories also effect ranking, it may be one of the reason behind your keywords ranking.

 

Same problem here . i cant find my keywords in first 10 pages ! my site's traffic falls drastically. I'm scared, has my site gone to Sandbox ?

But in my opinion there is no any sufficient cause for behind on this. Its all depend on search engine. Yes but some how we need to be focus for this kind sudden result ..

Avoid spam and low quality website links.
Always use quality and informative content for your website.
Don't use keywords stuffing your meta title and meta description.
