Rules What are the legitimate reasons for using my DP account from 2 locations?

I would appreciate help with this as I don't want to repeat former mistakes. I would presume using DP from home and from work would qualify as legitimate, but what if I manage an overseas company with a time difference and need to enable them to access my account (mainly for PMs) when I am away?

I read through the rules but didn't find a comprehensive answer, please accept my apologies if I missed something.

    Thanks,

We don't care where you login from...we just don't want you using more than one account. As we've stated in multiple threads (including one today already), we use more than just IP information for determining if a user is abusing their forum privileges (not rights) by using more than one account.

Thanks TikTok, I remember those great times when we used to swap links in dozens :) (i was under a different DP account then).

Last question if i may - the guys overseas used a DP account for a long time but it's been a week since they have received the request timeout error when trying to access it. They can access the forum from other locations in the same city perfectly. They never received any ban notifications or even infractions, needless to say I keep busting their chops to make sure they obey DP rules religiously.

Would you kindly look into this if i sent you their DP name and IP? If thats caused by something that they did there'll be blood...

Are they in the UK by chance? Probably the same issue as these people.

No Shawn, actually it's Belarus (eastern europe). have you received reports on DP inaccessibility from these regions as well?

We've also noted here plenty of times than you may not grant other people access to your account. So please don't.
