hello friend i m going to redesign my web site for real travel business so i would like to ask what are the main things must be in web site how many picture will be better in one page
I'm with Kerosene on that as it tops my list. NOBODY is going to take a business seriously who's website was written by someone who is spreaking they engrish moisty goodry. Follow that up with accessability minimums, since the more people you say you "Don't care about" (mobile users, vision impaired, alternative browsers) the less people will care about you. Next on the list is bandwidth optimization. A successful business is going to need a website that will scale well as traffic increases - and lower bandwidth also means wider penetration as a lot of places (even in america) find themselves with 33.6 dialup as a good day. You also have to remember your server is only going to be able to have so much pipe out, so a 800k homepage consisting of fifty or more files is going to be a disaster - unless of course you have more money than brains to throw at hardware and hosting costs. (which is when you tell the flashtards to GTFO)
The best thing is to think about what the users goal is. If they want to be able to find out holiday information they should be able to do this easily without much effort and wthout having to search through the site for ages. If adverts are going to be used on the site make sure they are relevent and don't disturb the user. When a site is covered in adverts it will just be more likely to put off people and they will leave. Adverts should never intude on the content being displayed, this will result in people not clicking through but just leaving your site.
I agree with much of the above but at the end of the day the design must be right otherwise people will leave your site pretty quickly. For a travel business, I would think you need a picture (or a collage of pictures) at the top to catch attention and then pictures of individual establishments/places (together with short text) within the content, possibly (depending on the size of your site) with the option to click on a picture/text heading in order to take you to another page with more detailed pictures and decsriptions. Your website also needs a slogan to tell people - at a glance - what you do and why you do it well. Also, don't forget seo such as sprinkling keywords in a natural fashion through meta tags, headings, content, alt tags, urls etc. You might want to check out the basics of using keywords in on-page seo. And don't forget to check your site on different computers and resolutions - a nice colour scheme on one computer can sometimes look hideous on another.
Design is important. Good design and attractive pics make people read your content. Otherwise they just close the page.
When people come to a site, they ask themselves "What's in it for me?" "Why should I be doing business with this company?" If they think your site sucks, they will leave. If you engage them and make then want to see more, you can have more success. My it easy for them to contact you, or explain the process of what you do when so the user's experience is smooth and easy.
Hi The design should be very good and it should explain your complete website in one look. So put some good travel images on it. For further help you can also look at CyberDesignz to get good ideas.
