What are the implications of copying a website design?

    I really like the look and feel of www.getmenus.ca. Am I allowed to "borrow" their background image, and then create a site based on the same colour scheme and general layout of theirs?

    Yea i guess you guys are right. Guess I was just looking for the easy way out on this one..

    But, overall, what do you guys think of the layout and design of www.getmenus.ca?

    Every designer knows we all base our designs of other designers.
    We take a little of this and a little of that and make it our own.
    You can take the over all feel of it and make it into your own, but the background image isn;t hard to make at all.
