No, AdWords is the branded name for Google's pay-per-click advertising program. Keywords is a generic term that applies to nearly any search engine marketing activity, including the Google AdWords, Yahoo! Search Marketing, Microsoft AdCenter, PPC programs, and etc., etc.

But to answer your question. After you sign up for AdWords, go into Tools and you'll find a great source of keywords. You can even input a URL and the keyword tool will spit out some potential ideas for keywords.

yep, as flip said - use the google keyword tool once you sign up to adwords. (word of advice though, don't go bidding the max cpc like it advises you to - my experience is that google always inflates these figures, just start out with an amount you feel comfortable with and set up a daily budget you also feel good with- then go from there)

    I agree with JHardy.

A lot of people will tell you to bid Max CPC but I always suggest that people go with an amount that they are comfortable with.

Not everyone's budget can always handle the max CPC budget that Google proposes.

    Good Luck.
