what are the factors to consider while selecting keywords?

    Hi,

    Keywords research is important while blogging. What are the factors to consider while doing keyword research? I am using Google Keywords Tool. Some of the factors I am aware of are search volume, broad match, exact match. Please advice me. Thanks.
