Is there such a thing as too many backlinks? i started an adult tube site and i'm considering doing link exchange so i need to post other people's link on my site. Is there a limit of links i should put up? does the amount of outbound links affect my PR? Should i put all the links on a separate page other than my main page? i have read about link juice but its mostly about inbound link juice, but is it bad to give out too much outbound links? i already know that it is important that outbound links be relevent to your site for SEO
There is no bad to get many backlinks to your website unless you get it in a very short period of time, inconsistent, unnatural... (whoa. looks like there're lots of rules here) When it comes to backlinks for a brand new site, try to keep it very little. I normally suggest 10-20 links per week. If you are building too many backlinks for a brand new site, it normally will end up in the sandbox. Try not to do link exchange too often because Google can track it. When it comes to outbound link, it is good to link to relevant site but not to spammy sites. Link building is a course itself. In short, just remember NOT to build links that looks unnatural to you.
