What are the chances for getting on Google's 1st or 2d pages?

I have companies like that call me all the time and offer their service like that. One told me that for $10,000 he can do this and that, and before he continued I hung up on him. The truth is that with good a strategic backlinking (like with .EDU links) and good targeted keywords, you can get on the first page of Google in 6-8 weeks. Some times it can take longer like 3-6 months, however. Those companies are thinking that you have a business but don't know how to market online.

Don't fall for it...

 

Obviously, it will take time for getting the chance on Google's first or second page. It depends on website's domain & search engine optimization. You should improve your website's keywords, titles, content & back links.

 

1st and 2nd page may not a problem but do check that what methods they using so you won't let your website step in blackhat seo and cause your site drop into sandbox.
Usually with 1.500 you able to rank well for atleast 5 keywords in the market.
