So I'm currently working on a project that hopefully will be fairly popular and it will take off (blah blah blah I'm going to become the next internet millionaire blah blah blah) But this project is a huge lump of code that will take me an minimum a month to make, so in the mean time, I've been wanting to start up a lot of low/no maintenance start-up sites (e.g. image hosting, proxy sites) just to add to my network, and hopefully help pay my bills, even if in the smallest insignificant way. So I'm curious to what some of the more popular or more successful sites are for this type of situation? I already made an image host ( http://www.imglot.com/ ) and I'm currently revamping a proxy.. but there's millions of those, and those are more of the more obvious ones.. Any suggestions?
The easiest to make are those crappy youtube clones or video sites.. then come the celeb site... you know i also made a celeb wallpaper site
I think a well updated blog with a bunch of celebrity information is a good idea. Those sites tend to make a lot of money because people always want to know about the latest gossip and star talk.
How about an image hosting site? If you get a good script and some design, you can really make yourself stand out.
