What are the biggest mistakes with using AdSense?

I want to know how I should and should not use Adsense.
I've heard using certain scripts are not allowed, like content generators (correct me if I'm wrong).
What else does Google disallow (I know it may be in the ToS but it's easier when said in plain English)?

For example, what if I have a site that justs posts the latest news from other sites (ala RSS feeds)?

How about PHPbay (content from eBay?) and PHProxy?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Content generators aren't allowed - write your own unique content.
Also, you won't earn much without driving traffic to your websites that are using adsense. Remember folks, traffic is the key to success and without it, you won't make much.

no its not true. i think content generator is allowed by adsense, because thats what rss for, as long you give credit to the source, by keeping the link. but surely thats not allow by search engine due to the duplicate content. your site can be penalized by SE.

    - adsense is not allow copy right material.
    - adsense is not allow invalid click
    - adsense is not allow porn, warez
    - adsense is not allow traffic from autosurf
    - adsense is not allow you to modifed adcode

    any more...

I understand I can read the ToS, but as above, people are already confused about whether or not content generators are allowed (I doubt it)...

But the why are RSS feeds allowed? Aren't they similar to content generators (in the sense that they post content automatically)?

The biggest mistake is certainly not taking precautions against fraudulent clicks...it happens way too often that some competitor or just a freak tries to mess with your adsense account. Fraudulent clicks are the quickest way to get booted from adsense forever (well, at least with the name/adress/IP combo you used when signing up).

I agree with brainet. If you copy other site content/post, make sure that you rephrase it. Do not copy as a whole or as is...it's a duplicate content....
