    There are best webhosting companies offering monthly plans but best of all is Hostgator. :D

    If you look around you will find one, Check out the thread on DP dedicated to hosting offers.
    Personally i would avoid hostgator, or make sure you read their TOS before purchasing anything, their fineprint is a pain!

    with their webmaster plan they give 3 domain names for free
    but its 20$ per month
    they also have a brilliant support staff ;)

    I suppose that you'd better reg domain and then buy hosting account.
    You should pay yearly for the hosting if you want to get free domain.
