What are the best ways to promote an affliate product?

I think social networking and Forum posting is the best option to promote an affiliate product. You can use also blogs comments, wordpress, twitter etc.

Promote a affiliate product in forums, communities, discussion boards, start blog commenting, article submissions etc. These are some good source to promote affiliate product.

 

I thought ptc sites are bad place to promote, because clickers their are not willing to buy stuff. I have abandon PTC's long time now. But After you have resurrected the issue again, may be trying to promote with some low priced products might pay off.

You can go one step further to focus your actions & Have Seo Articles that You can use to submit to various directory sites.

For example You may have one article but what if that article were able to be submitted to HUNDREDS of ARTICLE DIRECTORY SITES..

1 Article x 1000 = 1,000 backlinks
2 articles x 1000 = 2,000 backlinks

And say that You only get one viewer for each backlink so 2,000 Backlinks = 2,000 Viewers

I'm sure You can see how this adds up fairly quickly.. =)

Google Loves BLOGSPOT as well. So having the blog name target the Keyword/Product/service you want is highly crucial as well.

 

MALCOLM hit it right on the MONEY.. GOOGLE loves ARTICLES..Well It would be unfair of Me to speak on Google's Behalf. From My experience Google LOVES content & have ranked Many of my sites because I would consistently provide very CONTENT FILLED POSTS..

These Posts were usually 300+ words long of HIGHLY SPECIFIC information.. =)

make a product and sell it for free. yes free and promote in forums and via PTC.
but before giving it away ask for email id and you will have your own email subscription list of potential customers. then use it well

I think the only best way to promote any affiliate is SEO so you should some work hard on it and once you got it then count your money
