The best way to get indexed is to submit your site to google. Congratulations your are indexed in 1-3 days http://www.google.com/addurl/
I go with a combo of links in sigs at forums, back links from related sites, and google sitemaps. Google Sitemaps has worked extremely well for me and it has found me a few broken links I would have otherwise not known about. I have never had trouble getting into Google fast. It's a simple process just need to get it done once then it is like riding a bike.
In my opinion the best way is to get linked from some of the major sites. I own a site that is constantly being browsed by google. Last month, google visited the site twice as many times as all the users did, and this is a fairly popular site. Anyway, that being said. Earlier this week I created a new part to the site with a new url (.com), within 6 hours it was in google's listings. Mind you, only 4 pages were listed but heck, its better then none!
its only been 2 weeks anyway since my site was up... first it was in .net then when the domain was available in .com i transferred it to .com and suspended may .net account...the .net was indexed and still is...but my .com is never got indexed...could that be the reason?...why im not indexed?...in yahoo i can see my site...but in google and msn not... ive only done directory submissions anyway...will apply all your advices and give an update...thanks guys... more advices are welcome...
but that was suspended...tried to access it but cant... so that was why?...just need to wait to when google again refreshes its cache?...
I actually made a small test. I added a Blogger blog and tested how long it took before it was found by Google. Along with the blog I also added a few back links to my other sites pointing to the blog. These sites were already indexed (though with minimal PR). Additionally, i submitted the url to Google and MS Live. It took 2 weeks [sic] before I found the blog using Google and MS Live. Yahoo (to which I never submitted it) had it in 3 days. Has anyone else any alike experiences?
I think you guys didn't get me You should have clubbed the two sentances together. What I actually meant was that to a webmaster, his users are more important than Google (hence you should consider your user to be your God and not Google). Sorry for the confusion
hehe...its ok man... i will try to finish all of the pages in my site then generate a site map then pass it to google hope this will do the trick,hehe...i will give an update later...
google indexed me...thank God,hehe...dont know what i did but kinda nice that im out there... now need i just need PR...
First thing to do is to submit a sitemap. Then promote your site through social media till you get indexed by Google.
thanks snapplekid13...works well i have only 11 back links...only one of them have PR, PR 1,hehe... quality backlinks is better than quantity right?...
