What are the Best Ways to Advertise with No Money

Banner or link exchange, just adding lings everywhere you can, PR articles, press releases... What are the best ways to advertise if you don't want to spend your money? Any opinions?

 

I reckon if you did some article marketing, some directory submissions and upload videos ons sites like youtube etc would be an excellent start.

Twitter is also a good way to interact with people, exchange ideas and promote your website.

 

Word od mouth my friend "If you build it, they will come". Good content and a few good members, and in no time, traffic goes up.

 

forum posting and blog commenting.

 

Get some backlinks - comment on blogs, post in forums, bookmark your posts.

Give people a reason to look at your site - interesting articles, funny videos etc.

Put some videos up on youtube.

Post intelligent comments on popular sites in your niche

 

Signature links is a good option. But normal SEO is probably the best.

 

Article marking and social bookmarking are good ways. Also blog commenting and forum posting.

 

besides what other people have posted on this thread, posting a really funny for informative video on youtube can get you great exposure.

 

I always go back to the Social Networks for free advertising, specifically MySpace + Friend Trains - it's free - and easy to find a lot of people in any demographic really fast.

 

Forum advertising, word of mouth and link exchanges in related niches works wonder.

 

Hey if you don't have much money or not at all, there is really nothing you can do but try Viral Marketing and try building a mailing list

high quality, unique content updated on daily basis is what really works. Then people will promote your site. You can't build so many links that 1000 people can. And you can't spread the word so much and 1000 satisfied people do.
