I have been marketing my site for over a year now and the results aren't encouraging. Any idea on how to effectively sell my affiliate products as well as recruit affiliates.
Depends on your niche. I never recommend paid marketing, unless the CPC is 15c or less. - (I do affiliate marketing, and have made approx $70K over the past 2 years from affiliate marketing, I also have my own products). I wrote a piece about how to market on my blog. (Its what I do) in the link in my signature. I use facebook, twitter, articles, & ad sites. But overall, it depends on you niche. What do you market?

Post your affiliate program in directories. Optimize your website for targeted keywords potential affiliates might be searching for. Seek out and directly recruit affiliates by phone or email.
