Ive got my own electrical shop which is going to sell products such as mobile phones, ipods etc...

what is the best way to get my site in the search engines?
can anyone optimize it for me since i have little experience when it comes to promotion since i normally just deal in domains.

well, if you have a shop that sells products, first thing to do is get a really nice, interlinked website displaying all those products

you should have top level menus:

/computers/
/computers/hardware/
/computers/software/

and those will list categories

then you should have a separate product page for each product

/computers/hardward/dell/model_A5005/

and also catagory tags that link back into the main categories

so...how you design your site is pretty important

 

Since you admit to having little experience, you probably should just hire an seo professional to get you rankings. There is a section on this forum to hire such people.

 

i suggest you write articles and submit them to article directories.

of course your link is in your article, and the article is related to your niche.

Better hire a pro and invest your money in SEO.

Sometime more better hiring a web developer with SEO services involved.
But I do design and SEO for my self.
Not too bad..
