There are many out there and so many to choose from. Using the right SEO Plugin for you and for your WordPress site is very important to build up the organic traffic from the search engines. Here is a list of the best 16 SEO Plugins for WordPres I recommend.... All In One Schema.org Rich Snippets All in One SEO Pack All in One Webmaster FV Simpler SEO Google XML Sitemaps Greg's High Performance SEO HeadSpace2 SEO Platinum SEO Pack Scribe SEO Plugin by SQUIRRLY SEO Rank Reporter SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2 SEO Smart Links SEO Ultimate WassUp Real Time Analytics WordPress SEO by Yoast Please leave your feedback and your best WP SEO Plugin recommendation.... Thank you guys! You rock&roll!!!
Love the Yoast SEO plugin, though it doesn't seem to want to do my sitemap. What is the advantage of the Rich Snippets? Sorry, didn't know about that one. Also, does having that many different SEO plugins cause compatibility or function issues?
Hey Annea! Thanks for your feedback! To answer your questions... If you are having problems building a Sitemap for your site you can use this Plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/google-sitemap-generator/ This Plugin will basically give you the option to have a short-description box "snippet" of your Blog Post - below the blog post. This is to help the search engines know just a little more about your Blog Post. This is something optional I would say. Here is what the snippet looks like: The technical answer would be Yes. You should only have one SEO Plugin to manage most of the search optimization of the blog. But there are some plugins that work together and these are the plugins that have an specific function - like the Google XML Sitemap Generator Plugin for example - another example would be the SEO Smart Links Plugins - this plugin is only to help you with the link structure in your site for the search engines. Learn a little bit more about exactly what search engine optimization a blog needs and then pick the SEO Plugins to put the puzzle together in your own way. Hope this helps! Cheers! I wish you all of the success!
My vote go to Yoast, you can also add valuable Local setting and video plugin (paid one) still use few all in one seo for old autoblog or such
Hi, Out of the 16 plugins you mentioned, I have used Yoast, All In One SEO pack, Google XML Sitemaps, SEO Smart Links, All In One Schema.Org Rich Snippets and these are all good from my first-hand experience. One more SEO plugin that I also love is Easy WP SEO. I had used it for 6 months and I love the this plugin for off-page optimization purposes. I am not an affiliate of this plugin but just sharing my first-hand experince of using it.
I will use the combination SEO plugins which can help in terms of: 1. Title & Descriptions 2. Tagging 3. Imaging 4. Links 5. Sitemap Cheers!
Are we missing EasyWPSEO here? I would add that in the list too. SEO by Yoast does lot of things but I will use EasyWPSEO alongside SEO by Yoast. What do you think guys?
I've only ever used one seo plugin (seo by yoast). So far I am quite happy with it. Haven't tried others!
I use seo by yoast, it does create a sitemap dynamically, not a static sitemap as does http://wordpress.org/plugins/google-sitemap-generator/ , I would not recommend using both.
i am using the all in one seo for my site http://opakistanidramas.com/ but google is not indexing my pages, rarely 9 pages per day crawled, but almost two or three pages crawled per day, what can i do?
