Hi Friends, I have a website in english language and I want to get it ranked on Search Engine of The France, Germany, Canada and Spain. Please let me know how can I do multi-lingual SEO for these countries. Thanks,
Try to get backlinks for forums like DigitalPoint where you will find people from France, Germany, Canada and Spain. Also do social networking and target these country people. It will help you get ranked in those search engines.
Well on my experience its not just on where are the backlinks coming from. The most importent thing is to have our onpage language to be German, French, Canada...
Onsite use pages for different languages (rather than create subdomains) have clear language to language navigation (industry standard is to use national flags on the top right of the page). Offsite, as Klarksen so rightly said, you need to do a little optimizing link wise for each language. Make sure the results point to the right pages linguistically. Paul Rone-Clarke
OP, I don't really know how you are planning to do multi-lingual SEO for a uni-lingual website. This is not really the way internet business promotion should be done. You'd better get separate websites or subdomains for French, German and Spanish users in respective languages.
