Don't come across as spammy. This is the most important thing. Real people don't want to follow accounts that come off across as spam bots. You can grow a following of 100,000 bots but if you don't have a real community of followers you will not be able to monetize the account.

The best tactic that I've found for B2B marketing is quality content curation and building relationships with influencers. You can use tools like Buffer.com + GetCrate.co to put your Twitter on auto-pilot. Schedule a handful of links to be shared each day. But don't stop there - Take the time to mention a few of the people who wrote the articles Twitter handles in your tweets so they start to notice you. Some will retweet your content and place your name in front of their audience. Also - Check out Favstar.fm -- Great tool to use for finding influencers most popular tweets, quote them and mention them -- Some will retweet it...

    G'luck!
