I have a firm grasp of the industry and company as to where it has been and where it wants to go, I'd like to subscribe to some magazines/ newspapers, etc that will keep me up-to-date with buying trends, consumer behavior, economic forcasts and marketing ideas, give me your ideas thx
For a broader view of the intersection between technology, Internet use, and buying behavior/sociology you might enjoy a magazine called Fast Company. It's sort of a replacement Wired. Wired got all into covering gadgets instead of covering industry trends so much back in the mid-90's and Fast Company has pretty much taken their place. Unfortunately there have also been some good magazines that have come and gone - that's really the best one I personally can say is worth your time, although there may be others I don't know about. This isn't my idea, so I don't want to take create for it, but I also don't remember where I heard it, but the best market research ideas I get are from asking questions to people in the industry I know...it's amazing how much you can learn about what's going on or what they are working on by just listening to them. To be honest, by the time something is in a magazine, it's old news.
